Hester Roofing, is a family business with strong ties to the local community. We have been providing personalized, high-quality roofing services to Hammond, Covington, Mandeville, Slidell, Amite, Denham Springs, and the surrounding areas since 2017. We offer quality products and customer service as well as honest professional advice at reasonable costs. Our company is a Diamond Preferred Atlas roofing corporation and we are GAF Master Elite certified.

Owners, Gaye and David Hester, are originally from Ponchatoula and Hammond, respectively. We have lived through enough hurricanes, tropical storms, and blistering summer months to know that roofs in Louisiana need to be built right to withstand the weather challenges that we face. We started our own roofing company so that we could have direct authority over our quality control. We felt that we could take better care of our customers if we made all of the quality control decisions rather than someone who didn’t grow up here.

At Hester Roofing, we realize that most people are not aware of all the details involved in replacing or repairing a roof. Our goal is to treat each customer as family by helping them understand the roofing process and how it all works. The client can then make a decision based on the information they have been given so that they will be comfortable with their roofing choice.

We want to supply the best roofing solution that meets each customer’s needs without placing any pressure on the customer. We want our clients to be happy with what we’re doing and for them to have an all around better experience with their roofing needs.

David Hester, Owner

David has more than 15 years experience in the roofing industry. His first encounters with roofing began in high school. In 2008 following Hurricane Gustav, David became a Sales Representative for Re-Roofing America. Several years later he changed employers and moved to Louisiana Roof Crafters. David is a Roofing Insurance Specialist, and he is a Certified Roof Coating Specialist. He and Gaye have 3 sons, Jesse, Gabriel, and Jonathan, who also have integral roles at Hester Roofing. As business owners, both David and Gaye feel that it is important to stay active in their community and to give back where help is needed.

Gaye Hester, Owner

Gaye is a state licensed Commercial Contractor and former Real Estate Agent. As Administrator, she takes care of all aspects of the business from the largest tasks to the smallest details. Gaye keeps track of things and makes sure everything flows as it should. She and David have 3 sons, Jesse, Gabriel, and Jonathan, who also have integral roles at Hester Roofing. As business owners, both Gaye and David feel that it is important to stay active in their community and to give back where help is needed.
